Luminous wisps of zesty Elemi coalesce with sharp, woody billows of Patchouli, their cold mists covering the supreme beauty of the Vanilla Madagascar Absolute.

She warms her precious aromas of caramel, cocoa and tobacco in the light of a red and cinnamic Benzoin, whose ambery, silky and balsamic scent mingles with that of a pulverulent Tonka Bean.

Sparks of leathery and fruity Osmanthus, lascivious and animalic rifts of Labdanum, the smoky and buttery purr of Guaiacwood and the intense blackness of Laotian Oud – they highlight the dark side of their Queen yet for all this force of treacly night deployed, light still prevails and Vanilla on her wings Frankincense, Vanilla escapes to her heavenly realm.

Through manifold hues of balsams and of woods, Material tells a story of opulence, nobility, Liberation and immateriality.
